LODGING INFORMATION

Some local tangueros will open their homes to out of town visitors. To explore this option please let us know soon so we can try to find local hosts. Otherwise you can make arrangements to stay at nearby hotels or bed & breakfast inns. Some options are:

The Highland Inn  http://www.thehighlandinn.com/   is located 1.3 miles
from the Trolley Barn.  If you use the code word "tango" either over the
phone or via the email reservation, you will get quite a discount.  Even
though you are staying on the weekend, Friday, Feb 15, Sat Feb 16 or Sun Feb
17, you will get 10% off the weekday rate, so for

Single   $53.96
Double  $80.96
Queen Single $72.95
Suite   $89.95

There is an additional tax of 14%.  Price includes continental breakfast.
Check out the website and you will get a sense of things.  If saving money
is the objective, two people or even two couples, I believe, could share a
double, there is a wall partition which lends some privacy.

There is a fabulous gourmet fast food store (Harry's in a Hurry) on the same
block North and a famous Pub (Manuel's Tavern) to the South. Highland Avenue
farther north has a ton of shops and restaurants.  There is also a
restaurant adjacent to the Inn.  The Highland Inn is old, but clean and
functional, practical and charming.

If you are looking for something more elegant, try one of the bed & breakfast inns

something more modern: Holiday Inn Express
